Rodney Hylton-Potts is a progressive and “maverick” lawyer who has championed “the little man and woman”, and the abused and unpopular since the 1970s.
In the 1970s he acted for trade union officials who were being bullied and harassed by the Engineering Union over the one day “political strikes”.
He represented Asil Nadir’s stockbroker, “a fall guy” in the Poly Peck scandal in the 90s, and championed a Human Rights challenge against the no smoking legislation in 2007, with Cherrie Booth Q.C.
